The only real plus is the location, about a 10-minute walk from Futurescope. Inside, the room wasn’t properly clean. We found an old rubbish bag under the furniture, and the air conditioning didn’t work, so we had to sleep with the window open. We’d checked in online, but when we arrived at reception the employee just stared at their phone instead of greeting us.

The booking was a problem at first, but a helpful man on the phone sorted it out quickly. It’s a very basic room, though clean and tidy, with fresh towels, clean sheets and soap in the bathroom. For a budget hotel, what more do you expect? I’d recommend it.

We were driving through France towards the UK and wanted to get as far as we could. We booked online, and the staff were very friendly. It was a small, clean, pleasant place to stop, dog friendly too, with a good choice at the continental breakfast.

For the price, this is a good budget hotel. The rooms are clean and tidy, if a little small, which is what you’d expect at this price. They compare very well with other chains in the same range, and are actually a lot better.

The automatic check-in came in handy when we arrived late, and the enclosed parking felt relatively secure for the car overnight. There’s no fridge in the room, but it was clean and fit for purpose, including the bathroom. The location works well as a stop on the drive and for visiting futuroscope. The lobby has vending machines for water and some sodas, though the coffee wasn’t very good.
