Campanile Poitiers - Site du Futuroscope

The people here were so nice throughout our four-day stay while visiting Futuroscope, which is awesome too. It was quiet, the rooms were clean, and we had everything we needed. The park is just a 10-minute walk away, so we saved 12€ each day. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are optional. Since we spent all day at the park, we chose breakfast and dinner. I also want to mention Ariel, our big mermaid. She was lovely, checked in each morning to ask how we’d slept, and came by our table with advice about what would be better for our trip. Five stars for you, Ariel!

The staff were brilliant across the board, from reception to the waiting and bar staff. The room was clean, everything worked, and the beds were fairly comfortable, though the pillows weren’t so good. The rooms felt more like F1 than Campanile used to years ago. It suited us fine for two nights. The buffet dinner was good and breakfast was splendid, so I’d stay again when I’m in the area. We were there for Futuroscope, but be aware the hotel is a 30-minute walk from the Futuroscope rail station, with no signs to guide you. It’s not easy to find on foot, though parking is fine. There are very few places to eat nearby, if any, depending on the season and time of day.

The staff were helpful, and dinner at the restaurant was okay. The room had good air conditioning and a proper bathroom, and Futuroscope was an easy walk away.

It’s a standard Camponile Hotel, with nothing fancy, but it has what you need: a comfortable bed, decent breakfast and just enough parking. Good value for the quality, and the location just off the highway is great.
