That muddy car could have ruined the holiday, but our host went out of their way to get us unstuck. The rooms were lovely and quiet, and breakfast was good. Château-Chalon is gorgeous, and the wines were fantastic too. Wish we'd stayed longer. Definitely worth a visit!

A roomy, quiet and comfortable room with a view over a big garden made this a good base for a few days exploring the Jura.

We spent three nights here and loved how peaceful it was, in one of France's prettiest villages. Our room was clean, spacious and had a view. The hosts were kind and attentive without hovering, even with the language barrier. Breakfast brought a nice mix of homemade things and regional specialties. I especially liked sitting under the walnut tree to unwind. Thank you!

We dropped by the B&B terrace bar for a drink and ended up having ice cream too. The service was quick and really pleasant, and the setting is lovely. The ice cream was very good, especially the walnut flavour, which is typical of the area. If we're back in Château-Chalon, we'll come again.
