Breakfast was included and there was loads of it, with plenty to choose from. Simone even joined us, which was a little different from what we're used to. She was welcoming and pleasant, though she spoke very little English, so we communicated through Google translate. The room was clean and quaint, with lots of character, but there was quite a bit of clutter that didn't seem necessary. The toilet was clean too, though the bathroom also felt crowded with extra things. Sometimes simpler works better. We had a very enjoyable stay and would come back if we're in the area again.

I slept so peacefully, something I haven't done in 20 years, and felt at home with my grandmother. The food was fit for a queen, and I'm completely charmed by this little house. Simone is generous, bubbly, wonderful, and full of humor. Thank you for everything, it was marvelous.

The room was the big disappointment. It didn't match the description, the bathroom and toilet were shared and had no lock, and the cleaning felt very lax. There was also a mountain of belongings cluttering the room. The owner's welcome, on the other hand, was very warm.

They quickly cleared space in the garden for our car, bikes still on the back, so everything was safe. We slept wonderfully on the good mattress in the nostalgic, cozy bedroom. Simone was a lovely hostess and welcomed us with a glass of wine and a pleasant chat in the living room. Breakfast was good and very generous.
