The owners, Ella and Richard, were friendly and helpful. Ella even has her own song 🎵. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a clean bathroom, and breakfast was an ok typical French one. This excellent B&B sits at one end of the bicycle route along the Canal Brest-Nantes, so it works well as a starting point or a finish.

Our suite of rooms was lovely, and the hosts made us feel completely welcome and looked after. Breakfast was delightful and filling, served in a pretty breakfast room. The bright hotel has lots of character, and its spot in Chateaulin is ideal, by the river and town square with easy access to the places we wanted to see. We found the stay totally delightful, and will definitely return and tell our friends about it 🤗🤗!

After a great French breakfast each morning, we explored southern Finistere from Chateaulin, which is ideally placed for it. Numero 1 is an easy walk from the town centre and several good places to eat. Ella and Rick were so welcoming and did everything they could to make us comfortable. Both bedrooms in the suite were tidy and clean, as was the bathroom. We had a great time and highly recommend it!

The location is ideal for a day trip to Brest or the Pointe du Raz. Our room was clean, and breakfast was exceptional. Ella and Richard welcomed us when we arrived and made sure we had everything we needed, making the stay an incredible experience. Highly recommend!
