Gite de La Pierre Trouée

The gîte is ideally placed for exploring the area, and we’d happily come back. We spent three nights there with a few friends who ride bikes. The place has been renovated with care, but still has its original charm, and we got a superb welcome. Breakfast was generous, with homemade jams. I’d like to try the table d'hôte next time, since other guests staying when we were there said it was excellent.

Dinner and breakfast were both generous and delicious, especially the French toast and porcini mushroom omelet. Our hosts were so kind, and made our son feel at ease. They even lent us their lovely egg-shaped nightlight 😉. It was our first bed and breakfast stay, and such a good experience. The suite was tastefully decorated, everything was spotless, the bedding was very comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious.

The owner kept an eye on everything and his good humor lasted right through to the moment we left. We stayed for a week and had a wonderful welcome, along with magnificent scenery. Our room was spotless and the bedding truly exceptional. Dinner and breakfast were delicious, especially the French toast, which took me back to childhood. I highly recommend it.

Sébastien welcomed us so warmly, and the whole house and garden are beautifully decorated and meticulously cared for. Our room was spacious, very clean, and had comfortable bedding. Sébastien also cooks wonderfully, with delicious homemade dishes at his table d'hôtes. I highly recommend this bed and breakfast.
