The apartment was new, clean, and worked really well, with all the things we needed. The management was wonderful too. We were welcomed warmly and got plenty of help.

At 1:00 AM, we opened the door to find someone already asleep in the room. We'd arrived late, but the access badge with our names and apartment number was sitting on the counter, so we thought everything was in order. Instead, we were left with nowhere to stay and no way to be moved elsewhere. We had to go to another hotel and pay €80 a night. The host never replied, and we got no information about the rest of the nights we'd booked.

The apartment is brand new and has so much potential, and the former chapel is beautiful. But there was no one at reception when we arrived at 6 p.m., and the keys had just been hidden outside. At checkout around 9:15 a.m., reception was empty again, so we left our keys on the counter with the keys for other rooms. We had no human contact during the whole stay, which was disappointing. We'd booked for two adults and two children, expecting a double bed and a sofa bed in the living room. Instead, the bedroom had two single beds, alongside the sofa bed. Housekeeping was poor: cobwebs, a stained, smelly sheet, and grains of rice on the sofa bed. The kitchenware was short too, with just two teaspoons for four people and no breakfast bowls. The place has real charm, having been converted from a chapel into an aparthotel for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Still, it needs more staff presence, better cleaning, and better organization. As things stand, I wouldn't recommend it.

A peaceful, relaxing place, with friendly, helpful staff. We had a very pleasant stay and I'd happily recommend it as a base for exploring the Indre region.

The chapel is stunning, and the building has been beautifully restored. Apartments are new, practical, and well equipped, and the staff are friendly and pleasant. A place to see if you're visiting Châteauroux.
