We had a very large room that suited our needs, and there was guarded parking. The dated furnishings made the decor feel like a WW 2 movie set, but the room was adequate for the price. Dinner was a different matter. The service was friendly, but the food was limited and, to us, an insult to French cuisine: a few morsels of Boeuf Bourginon, plain pasta, grated carrots to start, a small slice of pie, and a few morsels of cheese for dessert. If we’d known, we’d have skipped dinner. They offered a bottle of " côte du Rhone" for 7.50€. The waitress passed it through a cubby hole to be uncorked, and the bottle we got back tasted decidedly watered down. We know our French wines, so this isn’t speculation or exaggeration. We only drank one glass. A disappointing meal all around. If you eat there, have them uncork the bottle in front of you.

The evening menu is limited to one option and costs €15, but they were flexible when I said I don’t eat meat and offered me an omelet. The rooms are clean and functional, and the place is quiet, with secure parking. We received a warm welcome. Good value, and we’ll stop here again on our way home.
