6/10
The rooms worked fine for an overnight stop, and the beds were really comfortable. With 38 degrees outside, the air con was very welcome. We’ve stayed here three times and are generally happy, especially with the location, easy motorway access, and large secure car park. The young woman who checked us in was lovely, though the morning reception staff were less friendly. Breakfast was okay, but there was no orange juice left, the pastry selection wasn’t great, and there was no hot food. The bathroom is the main issue: the shower, tiles, and floor are very shabby and badly need refurbishing.

Comfortable beds, good WiFi, and nice staff. It’s a handy roadside motel, and breakfast is standard. What else do you need?

It’s basic, as expected, but the rooms could use some work. Updating them would make the place look smarter and more current.

10/10
There’s a fuel station and bar nearby, and a big green space by the parking lot where I can let my dog run before we get back on the road. I’ve stayed here again on my way to Spain, and I always sleep well thanks to the great mattresses and pillows. Breakfast has improved a lot since last year.

Breakfast was continental and quite nice. The room itself was shabby and very basic, with paper cups for coffee that wasn’t drinkable. There’s no lift, and the shower is over the bath. The ceiling and tiles were mouldy.
