The building isn't luxurious, so don't expect too much on that front, but it was clean and the beds were okay. The married couple managing the hotel and their employees were all very friendly and did more than their best to make our stay enjoyable. For the birthday boy's final breakfast, they even changed the menus and baked a chocolate cake early that morning. Compliments!

The staff were really nice and tried their best to help, even though they don't speak English. We wanted raclette, and they went out of their way to find us a restaurant in the centre, where places are usually full. Breakfast and dinner were good enough, and we'd stay again. Linga chairlift is close by and connects to the full Ports du Soleils station. Bus stops nearby go to other chairlifts and the centre of Châtel.

Breakfast was excellent, and the beds were good, though my pillow felt a little thin. They made the beds and brought clean towels. There was free TV, and the Wi-Fi was free as well, but it didn't always work. We had a great visit.

For the price, this is a reasonable hotel with some solid pluses and no major downsides. The staff are friendly, breakfast is good, and the showers get hot. The rooms are small, but have excellent sound insulation. It's close to the lift, ski school, and rental shop, and there's a bar and tap room too. The beds are quite hard, there's only one outlet in the room for charging devices, and the Wi-Fi never works unless everyone else has left.

We had a good stay in a nice room close to the ski lift. You need to reserve ahead if you want dinner at the restaurant. Without a reservation, you can still get a very nice fondue.
