Apartment 6 was clean, well equipped in the kitchen, and had good mattresses. The view of the mountains was lovely, and the hosts were friendly and helpful. We’d happily recommend L’Echo des Montagnes. The balcony photos show the views. It’s about a 10-minute walk to the Super Chatel gondola and the bars and restaurants. The building is on the main road, so crossing the street can be busy, as we knew when booking. We didn’t hear road noise inside.
For 1,200 euros a week, the value felt just about acceptable. The facilities were otherwise OK, but the beds and showers were quite cramped and small. We stayed in the 10-person apartment, which we’d call adequate. It sits right beside the main road, so there’s some traffic noise. The valley views aren’t very good, though you can see a little from the balcony. We didn’t feel especially welcome by the owners, who seemed disinterested and unprepared to accommodate customers who don’t speak French.

The apartment was roomy and had the equipment we needed. Staff were kind and helpful, and the resort center with its many activities is very close. It worked well for families with children. Highly recommended.
What I value most is renting from an owner who lives at the residence, stays available, and can offer information and local tips. I rent my property in both summer and winter. The residence is near the town center and the Super-Châtel gondola lifts. Bus stops for other ways into the ski area are close by too.
