La Maison Rouge

The view of the medieval town is beautiful. This bed and breakfast was quiet, spotlessly clean, and well located. Thanks to Christophe for being so kind. I'd highly recommend it.

The view across the city is fantastic, and the house hen Giselle adds a nice touch. The host was very friendly. The dry toilets are unusual, but they work perfectly.

The owner was especially friendly, attentive, and helpful. I was there for work rather than sightseeing, and the separation between work and downtime was excellent. I wasn't sure what to make of the simple cabin at first, but it was surprisingly peaceful. There's no TV, which suits the natural surroundings, and the Wi-Fi worked perfectly. Ducks, chickens, frogs, and a guinea pig wander around freely. Inside, the exposed stone walls make it feel quite spacious for one person, at least in the cabin I stayed in. The dry toilet was perfectly fine. Chauvigny center, with its restaurants, shops, and banks, is less than a ten-minute walk away.

Breakfast was excellent, and it was lovely to eat in the garden with a view over the medieval city. The owner was welcoming and helpful. The bed and breakfast is quiet and very well located in town, just minutes from Futuroscope. The accommodation is clean and functional, with wood details that make the room feel warm. I highly recommend it.
