There’s a real sense of well-being here. We enjoyed a stylish room with a magnificent feel, and breakfast was hearty, with lots of specialties. The 33 hectares of wooded grounds are cared for thoughtfully, with respect for nature. A lovely place to find some peace and recharge, with history, nature, and a kind hostess all coming together.

Thank you, Chantal, for such a kind welcome and all that positive energy. We were so glad to discover this peaceful manor house, set on a splendid estate overlooking the Château d'Azay. It’s a place that makes it easy to slow down and relax.

The manor itself is beautiful, and the location is exceptional, which makes the rest all the more disappointing. The room photo on Booking.com showed the manor house, but the room we were offered was in an overheated annex and had no medieval style at all. The pool wasn’t working, either. Then came the owner’s very esoteric talk about a supposed cosmo-telluric vortex on the property that would give us good vibes. I left immediately. This was one of the worst B&B scams I’ve come across. The owner said they’d refund half, but I’m still waiting. No wonder they lost their Relais & Châteaux accreditation.

We were welcomed warmly and had a lovely room. Breakfast was generous, with local products, and the magnificent grounds made this feel like a real haven of peace.

We had a great time here. The welcome was warm and simple, and there’s plenty to see on the estate, from the beehives, animals, and vegetable garden to a 2000 year old Gallo-Roman site. The manor house is beautiful, with a magnificent view over the castle of Azay le Rideau, and there’s also a superb swimming pool.
