Normandy Grange

The surrounding countryside is stunning, with some fantastic views. We stayed at the end of October 2022, and the place felt lovely and welcoming, with beautiful, comfortable accommodation that had a cosy, homely feel. The kitchen has everything you need, and the beds are extremely comfortable. After a long day, the showers were lovely too. There are board games, including a beautiful glass chess set, plus good quality cups and glasses. You get a key for the building and another for your room, so your belongings feel secure. The hosts are lovely and helpful. They can offer directions, ideas for local visits, and tips on good value places to eat. There are plenty of pamphlets and leaflets, as well as a map to help plan outings. If you need anything, they’ll do their best to sort it out. There’s a good TV with British and French channels. They’re hoping to add a bigger TV, a sound system and better internet when it becomes available in the area. I’d very much recommend staying here.

Richard and Christine are attentive hosts, clearly keen to make sure guests enjoy their stay. Their cottage is charming and comfortable, set amid the quiet greenery of the Normandy Bocage.

Christine and Richard pay attention to their guests’ well-being and are thoughtful hosts. The cottage itself is beautiful and very comfortable.
