We paid €25 for one night for two adults in a campervan. Outside the barrier, there’s also an overnight aire with EHU, water, and waste facilities for €10.50 per night, which seems like very good value. The pitch we chose was large, grassy, and had EHU, though there was some traffic noise. The leafy grounds helped make up for that. The owner at reception was welcoming, and the bar area where you check in looked like a nice spot for a drink. The pool is a good size, but algae had built up around the bottom and it could use better upkeep. The toilets and showers are old but generally clean, with warm showers. The washing-up area was fine. The washing machine was out of order, which was surprising in peak season. It’s a basic campsite, but a little work could make it much better.

The pool was nice and clean, and the atmosphere was pleasant. Staff were friendly and helpful when we stayed, even though we’d read some negative reviews about them beforehand and were a bit concerned. It’s a short drive to mont saint michel. Some pitches may be too small for large tents, and the uneven ground can make pitching difficult. The big drawback was the outdated showers and toilets, which were far too dirty and smelly. There’s no toilet paper.

There’s loads of space, and the campsite is green, with a pool, good facilities, and fresh pastries in the morning. It deserves a much higher rating. Wonderful place.

The sanitary block is basic, and the pitches are very close together. For the price, the accommodation felt average and the service minimal. We stayed in the Chalet, which was more like a bungalow covered in cheap wood. The barbecue was nice, though.
