Hôtel Rive Sud

We chose the Utopia room and I really didn’t want to leave. The round bed was comfortable, and so was the whole room. Breakfast was outstanding, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We spent three fantastic days at Hotel Rive Sud and would definitely come back.

The food featured local ingredients, and the bike storage was both convenient and secure. The room was fantastic, and the staff were very welcoming and kind. I highly recommend this hotel.

The welcome felt personal from the minute we arrived, with a warm, comforting atmosphere that made this the most memorable of our eight trips to France. The lovely, lively, intelligent Greek woman who greeted us was beautiful, though I can’t remember her name. We also met the owner’s wife and their adorable children. Best wishes to all of you. The room was beautifully decorated, and the friendly service stood out. The dark green carried through the walls, dining table, food, and decorations, all carefully thought out. This is what staying in a local guesthouse feels like, you connect with local life as soon as you check in.

We’ll see you next year! This was our third stay at Rive Sud, and Rudy & Mathieu keep making worthwhile improvements to an already fab hotel. The new restaurant and wine bar in town serves excellent food with great service, and it’s open on Sundays when most other places are closed. The secure, well-equipped new parking area also makes busy times much less stressful. As always, the hotel was immaculate and comfortable, nothing was too much trouble, and breakfast was fabulous.
