A hilly parkland course in the lovely seaside village of Cibourne, close to La Rhune Pyrenees Atlantique and next to Saint Jean de Luz. The par 3s are strong, there are some water hazards and the greens are nice. The welcome at the bar and office was friendly.

I played on a misty weekday in early October. The course was fairly full, but play moved along well. It had rained recently, yet the ground held up and wasn't muddy or swampy. The hills are more challenging than you'd expect, and with only free push carts and no driving carts, it makes for a good workout. There are several spots where you need to stop and check that it's safe to hit or continue. Playing through the driving range was unusual. Avoid a yellow or green ball, since those are used on the range. Parking could be tricky, though I got lucky and found a roadside spot by the entrance. The staff were friendly, even though I only speak English. I'd certainly play here again.
