I came just for dinner. The menu’s fairly limited, as you’d expect at a rural French restaurant, but there was enough choice.

There were loads of wasps and hornets, which was a drawback. Still, the food was great, the place was nice, and the staff were good.

A comfortable bed and a quiet spot, with really friendly, attentive service.

Everyone seemed happy, smiling, and laughing, which really lifted the mood. We only stayed for one night and wished we could’ve made it two. The hotel has a lovely, homely feel, and we got a warm welcome. Our room was comfortable, with a kettle and a great view. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious, and the waiter was so friendly and attentive. Breakfast was French style: fresh croissants and bread, homemade preserves, and local cheese and meat. We’d come back.

The food was delicious, generous, and made with fresh seasonal ingredients, and the price felt excellent for what we got. We were welcomed so kindly that we relaxed straight away. A lovely visit, and we’ll definitely be back.
