Le Noisillet

We've come back several times, and the warm welcome makes it feel like home. There's a lovely setting with a pool, spa, and forest all around. The local gourmet food is excellent, and each room has its own character. A perfect spot for a romantic weekend.

Breakfast has a generous spread: bread, croissants, homemade jams from the orchard fruit, rusks, butter, yogurt, cheese, fruit, cereals, and unlimited tea and coffee. The pool is open in the afternoon, with loungers and parasols, and is a lovely way to cool off after a local walk. The cozy room stays cool and has everything you might need. We also had the kitchen and living room to use, plus garden tables dotted around for meals. Le Noisillet is ideally placed between Saumur and Chinon. It's wonderfully peaceful, tucked into nature and far from the city rush. Walk or cycle nearby and you might spot small wild animals. Our hosts greeted us with real warmth and a smile, and we felt at ease with them straight away. Well done to them 😎😉🌞

We were very pleased with the warm welcome, the services, and the generous breakfast. The setting is beautiful, and our room was very comfortable. It's ideally placed for lots of excursions, and we highly recommend it.

Breakfast in the garden, with organic products and a view of nature and the troglodyte cliff, was a real treat. The gîte is close to Chinon and Saumur, with all the local sights just a short distance away. We also loved having the pool to relax in during the evening, before going out to a restaurant or staying in and using the kitchen. The setting is exceptionally beautiful and idyllic, and our hosts gave us a wonderful welcome during our two nights at the gîte. We'd happily return!
