Mike and Frances are great hosts, and the welcome pack is a lovely touch. The cottage is beautifully appointed with everything you need, including a charming private garden for the included barbecue or just relaxing with a glass or two of wine. It’s a lovely old cottage on a very secluded side street, just minutes from the town centre with its bars, restaurants and shops. A good base for visiting the area’s historic towns, villages and attractions. Thoroughly recommended.

There are several lovely corners in the garden to enjoy, and the interior is lovely too. This beautiful gite is tucked away up a side street, within walking distance of Civray. Everything is provided for a restful, enjoyable stay, and the welcome pack was more than you could wish for. Mike and Frances make sure your stay is memorable for all the right reasons. This was our second visit, and hopefully we’ll be back before long.

Mike and Frances gave us a very warm welcome and were perfect hosts. They respected our privacy but responded quickly whenever we needed anything. The pretty cottage is comfortable and well equipped, with a pleasant garden, and it delivers all it offers. Highly recommended.

The owners are super helpful, and the location is great and quiet, about a 5 minute walk from the town centre and pool complex. A lovely, sweet cottage with everything you need.
