Camping du Quinquis

The owners were so kind and keen to make us feel at home. We spent two days at the camping with four kids, and they loved it just as much as we did. There was everything to keep a stay going well, from inflatable play structures and places to kick a ball to the swimming pool, restaurant, and grocery store.

After a four-year break, we came back to Camping du Quinquis in our campervan and had a lovely stay. The place is peaceful and spacious, quiet by 11pm, with gorgeous pools and a friendly atmosphere. Great towns and beaches are nearby to explore, and it's very good value for money. The new French owners have a lovely French and English team who work tirelessly to make sure guests have a wonderful time. There's a new restaurant and bar area with varied evening entertainment. The new glamping area has a few Safari and Teepee tents, alongside many great pitches and several brand new mobile homes for rent. For a 3 * campsite, it feels more like 4* now. I'd highly recommend a visit, you won't be disappointed!

The on-site takeaway pizza was excellent. We used the bar less than we might have because diet, zero, or lite drinks were oddly missing, though the bar itself is a much better space than before. The site has seen investment and improvements since our previous visit, which was our sixth and first since 2018. There were only occasional events, but with the weather so hot, the beach and pool were all the entertainment we needed.

It doesn't feel like one of those dull caravan and motorhome car parks, all hard standings and grumpy signs. The English couple running the site are fantastic and multilingual. Kids are welcomed and well catered for. The pools are clean and well cared for, and the evening activities at the great bar are fun. The on-site takeaway is very good value, and the loos seem to get cleaned twice a day, unlike many places.
