We had dinner at Au Site Normand on Friday. It was an excellent meal, with some lovely little touches, including the amuse bouches and some nice wines. Merci!

The welcome at reception is friendly and professional, and the cuisine has stayed consistently good. We've eaten here several times, and the menu keeps evolving. Still excellent.

The location in Clecy, in the heart of Suisse Normande, is great for enjoying the countryside. Staff were great, with a warm, friendly welcome. The restaurant is lovely, and the rooms are clean, a good size and quite calm.

The area is fantastic for walking and cycling, though the name gives you a clue that there are some hills! I’ve just come back for my third four-night stay at this wonderful hotel with 21 of us cyclists on half board. Everything worked well, from the bikes being stored in the garage to the good breakfasts and incredible evening meals.

The hotel itself was comfortable and fine, but the receptionist seemed disinterested and wasn't helpful. We'd booked restaurant dinner when we made the reservation, yet when we showed up we were told it was closed. At 7:30 at night we had to walk in the rain looking for food. Not impressed. They should have told us when we checked in.
