Hôtel Littéraire Alexandre Vialatte,BW Signature Collection

I wish I'd had more time to stay. All the staff were professional and helpful, and Sandrine and Jacques showed my family and me a kindness we really appreciated.

That breakfast buffet was fantastic: fresh-squeezed orange juice, pastries, yogurt, fruit, eggs, bacon, and an amazing cheese selection. There was a great city view too, even through the fog, and a few tables outside on a small terrace. The location is handy, about a five-minute walk from the cathedral, restaurants, and bars. Our fifth-floor family double had a sliding door and was just the right size. The beds were really comfortable. The room was clean, though it could use a refresh. I can't say what a standard double is like. One warning about the underground garage: if your car has low clearance, like a sports car or Tesla, you will scrape its underside going over the concrete edge of the ramp.

The location was perfect and the breakfast superb. But it was really cold by the window in our room, and our baby was already asleep, so we couldn't make any changes. There wasn't a bottle of water in the room, and the child's third bed hadn't been made up.

Breakfast on the sixth floor came with a great view and plenty to choose from. The hotel was clean, and the front desk team were polite and helpful. We had some room-floor renovations going on, but they didn't bother us during the stay. The location was handy too, with a tram stop on the corner and lots of restaurants and shops nearby. My only small gripe was the AC switching off automatically, though I got used to it. A pleasant stay.
