I had a very disappointing stay. The room was extremely small and impractical, especially with luggage, and the receptionist showed little interest in helping. I asked if I could pay extra to upgrade to a more comfortable room, but that was refused and no other option was offered. I was willing to pay to resolve the issue, so the lack of flexibility and assistance at the hotel added to my frustration. I understand that room sizes may be standard for a 3-star Parisian hotel and that my booking was made through an agency. Still, my review is about my own experience of the room and reception service, which didn’t meet an acceptable standard. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a comfortable stay in Paris. Regarding your reply Dear Catherine, Thank you for responding. I’d like to clarify something your reply didn’t mention. During my stay, I asked reception whether I could upgrade the room and pay any extra cost to get more space. The request was declined, and nobody suggested another solution. I understand the room size may be typical for a 3-star Parisian hotel, and that the booking was through an agency. My concern was also the lack of help on site, even though I was prepared to pay more to address the problem. The bathroom was a bit of an experience, and the room wasn’t perfect, but the staff and location made the stay. I was unsure about trying the hot tub, but once we did, we were so happy 🥰😍. A brilliant stay. We’d recommend it and would definitely come back.

The neighborhood is calm and feels local, though it’s outside Paris proper and well connected. The room cleaning was very poor, just a quick and dirty job, and they didn’t even replenish the coffee. I had to ask reception twice for soap. I know it’s a 3-star hotel, but having to ask for soap feels like a joke.

Breakfast was disappointing, though the person preparing the food was kind and helpful. Some night shift staff don’t speak English. The rooms are small, and there’s a glass wall between the bed and bathroom, plus a glass door that doesn’t lock. Cleanliness could be better too. The cobwebs on the ceilings would be easy to clear away.

The room was small, but that’s typical for Paris, and for our one-night stay it was good. I liked that the building has an elevator. It’s a bit far from central Paris, so I probably wouldn’t stay here again if I wanted to visit all the tourist spots. If a 30-minute commute works for you, I’d recommend it.
