I really liked the quiet few days I spent at La Pierre Folle while driving around to see the area. I arrived with my little dachshund and felt welcome straight away. We’ve always preferred small places to big hotels because they’re more private and usually quieter, and this one absolutely delivered on both.

Breakfast on the terrace was delicious, and we spent two wonderful days here. After visiting Cormatin Castle and the town of Cluny, it was relaxing to unwind by the natural pool. Our room was great, tastefully decorated, and had all the comforts. Thank you so much!

I booked every room for my friends and family for my birthday, and we were all delighted with our stay at La Pierre Folle. Everyone slept peacefully, and the rooms were beautiful, clean, and spacious, each with a large bathroom. The owner was attentive, charming, and helpful, with a sense of humor my guests and I really appreciated. Dinner cooked by the owner was wonderful, so good you could hear the flies buzzing while everyone ate. Breakfast was plentiful and continually replenished, and the owner made sure everyone had what they needed. My friends and family loved it too. I highly recommend the place, and thank you again for the warm welcome!

The natural pool made the sunniest hours pleasant during those very hot days. We also appreciated the generous breakfast, made with carefully selected local products, and the excellent cleanliness and hygiene of the rooms, which felt crucial during this challenging time.
