The staff and reception made a great impression, always smiling, helpful and professional. Our room was cozy, warm and spotless, and we appreciated how often the towels and bed linen were changed. Breakfast at the restaurant was delicious and varied. Staying here was a real pleasure, and we’re already planning another weekend visit later this year.

The staff, Ricardo, Marie and the brunette lady, were a delight. The room was basic but did everything we needed, with a surprisingly comfortable bed and air conditioning that was a godsend in 38-degree heat. It’s a cheap and cheerful place with hotel rooms and camping lodges. Great for falling asleep after sunny days at the pool, a nearby beach, or a seven-minute drive to picturesque Port Grimaud and farther afield to St Tropez.

Everything is close by, and there’s a nice beach nearby, but the streets aren’t very pedestrian-friendly. We rented a chalet for six, and it was all right. The campsite could use some renovation, with more paved roads, better lighting and real grass around the chalets.

September was so calm here, and there’s plenty of privacy and space between the houses. The place is tucked away in green surroundings in Marines de Cogolin, with a forest-like feel that reminded me of childhood camping trips in Odessa (Ukraine) and Klaipeda (Lithuania). When it gets dark, seeing guests having dinner on their terraces feels like looking at boats out at sea. Our house was new and clean, with a kitchen equipped with a microwave, dishes, a fridge and other useful things. The reception, shop staff and restaurant team were all very friendly. The restaurant food was tasty, service warm and prices affordable. There’s a pool with renewable water flow, and the beach is a 12-minute walk away. I’d never have expected such a treasure here. It was a wonderful discovery, and I definitely want to come back next year. I highly recommend it to all my friends. Thank you very much.

The rooms were tiny, very old, and full of spiders and ants, and the place was expensive. I had to pay for towels and bed sheets. Staff were rude and unfriendly, and I wasn’t impressed with the facilities or the place in general. Reception advertised free Wi-Fi, but it didn’t work for three or four days of my visit. The roads and lighting were poorly maintained, so I could barely see at night and ended up injuring myself. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
