Le Petit Domaine de Colayrac

A lovely pool area, and you can use the BBQ facilities. Great spot to stop for a night or stay a couple of days.

The secret garden behind the large gate has a pool and jacuzzi, tucked away so it feels like just you and nature. Breakfast was a real treat too, with fresh bread, strawberries, yogurt, jam, croissants or pain au chocolat, and plenty of teas. We're in the Southwest, after all! 😄 Hélène welcomed us with so much warmth and care. She puts her whole heart into this guesthouse, and it really feels like staying with family or at a friend's home. She was attentive and kind throughout, even lending me a charger when mine died. Our spacious, charming room was under the eaves, with a window looking out over the countryside. The house felt peaceful, and its décor strikes a lovely balance between heritage and contemporary touches. In the evening, the soft lighting made the architecture and atmosphere feel almost magical. You can still sense the place's history as a fruit grower's estate. I hope my own garden will take inspiration from it one day. We had the pleasure of staying at Le Petit Domaine de Colayrac, and I recommend it a million times over. If I could give more than five stars, I would.

The grounds are magnificent, and finishing the day with a swim in the pool or a soak in the jacuzzi is a pleasure. Near Agen, Hélène is a charming hostess.

The breakfast was good and included in the price, and there’s access to the pool and jacuzzi, though the jacuzzi wasn’t open during our stay. Our room was very spacious and clean, and the host was welcoming. The shower could use an update, and a few small renovations are needed, though the house is large.
