The breakfast selection was nice, though it was served in a room with no natural light. Our room also looked out onto a poor view, but at least it had a window. Otherwise it was clean, well equipped and very nice, with a super comfortable bed. The staff were friendly and professional. The hotel is in the centre of the very nice town of Coilloure, and the sea is only two minutes away for a lovely morning swim.

The evening buffet had loads of choice and great flavours, including a nice selection of cheese. Breakfast was just as good, especially the scrambled eggs and smoked salmon. We’re always given a warm welcome.

Frédéric went above and beyond when my train was suddenly cancelled because of maintenance on the rail line. He helped me work out other ways to get home, and I can’t wait for the day I get to return. The room was simple, spotlessly clean and had everything I needed. It’s a perfect spot, right in the heart of Collioure and a five-minute walk from the train station. Such an idyllic stay in a fairytale-like town, five stars out of five for everything!

The location is remote, so parking isn’t convenient, though it’s better than usual. The staff are friendly and keen to help. The hotel is plain, but good value for its price and location. I’d skip the breakfast, though, especially since it costs extra.

Everything else was okay, but during my one-night stay there was no Wi-Fi in room 108. The person at reception told me this, and I also had no cell phone signal, so I ended up watching TV 😔. They should really try to extend the Wi-Fi range somehow.
