Chalet de TARA - Grand appartement esprit chalet - piscine chauffée - Genève

We had a great time here with our grandchildren, who came to visit during the day. We booked Pascal and Cristina’s place at the last minute, and they were so accommodating, even stopping by to show us how to work the DVD player. It’s a lovely place in a beautiful setting, with gracious hosts. I’ve attached a photo of the view from the kitchen window.

The pool was such a welcome extra during the unexpectedly hot weather. The modern, lovely accommodations were comfortable, and everything we needed was there. Cristina and Pascal were fantastic, polite, professional, and so accommodating. They went above and beyond to help us, and I hope we can keep in touch and come back someday. :)

The pool was the best part, and being able to use it whenever we liked made for a lovely end to the day. From the beautiful terrace, the view is fantastic. The apartment is nicely furnished and fully equipped, with nothing missing. The location, southwest of Geneva up in the mountains, is a great base for Lake Geneva, Chamonix, and Annecy. It’s easy to reach by car, with good parking on the property. Our hosts were very friendly, helpful, and obliging. We can recommend it without reservation!

Pascal kindly warmed up the pool before we arrived. It’s under a glass structure, so swimming was really pleasant even in cold weather. We also enjoyed a nice Apero with him and found the service excellent. On sunny days, you can watch paragliders take off from the cliff, circle down, and land in the fields around the apartment. The balcony also has a beautiful view over Geneva bay.
