We arrived just before Christmas market season, so it wasn't too crowded, though we could already see the Christmas decorations. The apartment is right in central Colmar. Its lovely room and tastefully furnished living room made us feel like we were in a fairytale.

Colmar is beautiful, though there are a lot of tourists, so I'd suggest visiting out of season to enjoy the quaint town with fewer people. The apartment itself is very nice and has the services you need. One significant problem was the aircon switching itself off after a few hours. We woke up sweating, and couldn't change the settings because they were password locked.

The location couldn't be beaten, but I was quite disappointed by the studio called “Romantic”.

Colmar is a lovely place to visit any time of year, and it feels magical at Christmas.
