I had to cancel only two days before arrival because I was ill, so I never got to travel. The owner and staff were easy to reach, understanding about what happened, and helped sort out a quick, smooth solution. Their friendly, professional response made a stressful situation much easier. I was really impressed by how responsive and supportive they were, and would consider staying here another time.

The creaky staircase, sloping floors and antique furniture gave the place a cozy, storybook feel. We had cathedral views from both the front and back of our room, and could hear the bells ringing. Even getting my sock caught on a nail in the floor felt like part of the charm. We loved staying here.

A bit of paint in a few spots would help, but otherwise this was a brilliant place, really close to the centre. It was much more than we expected!

You can’t get more central than this, but the place was dirty and badly managed, with little attention to detail. The host was awful to communicate with and didn’t reply until the last minute. We booked an apartment with two separate rooms, then found they were divided by see-through glass doors, which wasn’t great for privacy.

It had all the comforts and amenities we have at home, which made it easy for our family, and it was great value. The apartment is lovely and sits right in the city centre. I’d happily stay here again next time I’m in Colmar.
