Logis Hotel Le Balcon

The profiterole was amazing, and we really enjoyed the desserts. Lunch was lovely, especially the Poulet aux Morilles au Vin Jaune, and the cheese platter was fantastic too.

We came over from the Netherlands and stayed one night. Everyone was really nice, the service was excellent, and breakfast here is highly recommended.

The room was quiet and well equipped, and breakfast was generous. I asked for scrambled eggs, and they made them right away, perfectly cooked. The homemade yoghurts were lovely too. I happened on the restaurant while staying at the hotel. Driving through the village, you can spot the hotel, but the restaurant is less obvious. What a find: classic, generous gourmet food made with fresh, local ingredients, and everything is homemade. There’s a varied menu and set menus for different budgets. The welcome was warm and attentive, and the hosts were exceptionally kind. Service stayed welcoming throughout. I was especially pleased by the big cheese trolley, which they explained with care, and there was a very good wine selection. The chef is passionate, an awarded Maitre Restaurateur, and listed in the Michelin guide. A very good stopover to remember.

I just stumbled across this restaurant and ended up having the best meal I’d had in quite a while. Such a pleasant surprise!
