We nearly fell for the place during our April weekend, and we’ll be back. The terrace and restaurant look straight toward Mont Blanc, with a wonderfully peaceful feel. Dinner was absolutely delicious, and our dog was welcome too. It’s a family-run hotel, and the family really did everything they could to make our stay perfect. A memorable weekend, and we’d recommend it wholeheartedly.

The staff were polite and keen to help, and the rooms were clean and spacious. It’s a lovely hotel in Combloux with a great view of Mont Blanc. I thought it was a bit pricey, but couldn’t imagine finding a better price for a view like that, so it was okay overall. Thanks to the team, our stay was really great. There are hygiene issues that need attention, though. I got sick after drinking the tap water, and there was mold in the spa area. I’d also like staff to clean up after their dogs in the hotel park, including near the entrance and open pool.

The meals are very good for the price, and the bathrooms are excellent. It’s a delightful family-run hotel with lovely rooms and great views of Mont Blanc. No wonder it’s so popular with the French. We’ll definitely return.

The lady owner, now in her nineties, is still keeping a sharp eye on things and rushing around the hotel. Her example seems to set the tone: the staff I met were all cheerful, friendly, and attentive. One lady, who I think was from Colombia if I remember right, went out of her way to make sure I had what I needed. Plenty of hotels can offer a nice room or pool, but happy staff like this are harder to find. The owners have done a great job.

It was hard to leave, and I’ll definitely come back. The hotel has a lovely atmosphere, very polite staff, and two sweet, chubby Labradors. Dogs can stay here too. I loved the outdoor pool and its view. Breakfast was tasty, with omelet, lots of cheeses, pancakes, and yogurts. Thanks to the team for making the stay so enjoyable.
