Chalet Alpen Valley, Mont-Blanc

The food made a strong impression, from the generous, varied breakfast to the beautifully prepared dinners with great flavors. Each evening felt special in the cosy alpine setting. The staff were warm, professional, and caring from the moment we arrived, and always ready to help with a smile. The team’s personal attention meant a lot to us. They went out of their way to make my birthday special, creating a memory I won’t forget. Chalet Alpen Valley Mont Blanc is comfortable and elegant, with a peaceful mountain feel that made it easy to relax and enjoy Mont Blanc. Our stay was unforgettable, a five-star experience, and I’d love to return. Thank you!

It was easy to ski from here, with the slopes and rental shop nearby, and the place felt peaceful away from city noise. We were pleasantly surprised by the clear mountain views, friendly staff, and really good food. A great choice for a ski and relaxation vacation.

We’ve already been twice this year, once in winter and again in summer, and both stays were amazing. The service was just as good in each season, with extremely kind and helpful staff. Great location, great food, and a very good breakfast buffet. Just an amazing experience all around.

The cinema was a hit with the kids. We watched “night in the museum” after dinner, though a playroom for younger children would be nice. The hotel is about 100-200m from the ski lift, and the ski lockers have a retro feel. There are boot heaters for only 10 pairs. The spa is small, with a sauna and hammam, but no window or view. Our rooms had great views and were cleaned regularly. Extra hooks would help dry our ski clothes. The atmosphere felt cosy and homely, and reception were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good quality, with a great range of breads and pastries, but the coffee wasn’t nice. My cappuccino had hot chocolate in it, so it was too sweet. Half board covers only two dishes, either starter and main or main and dessert. We paid for our kids as adults because we had three rooms, but were still charged extra when they ordered from the adult menu for at least three days. I only got that sorted after raising it with reception. The food was good overall. We loved the beef bourguignon and pizzas, and the onion soup was great too.
