Goélia Les Chalets des Pistes

The location is quite good, with easy access to the ski slopes and a fantastic view from some rooms. But room assignment feels like a gamble. You might get that great view, or end up looking at nothing, even after booking a "premium" room. The word premium doesn't fit the construction quality, either. The complex has many serious flaws, and mobile service doesn't work inside the building. Maybe the building blocks the signal, or maybe the outside Wi-Fi provider is using broadband jammers. I wonder how this place got its three stars. Perhaps it rated itself, because I can't see it passing a proper inspection.

A cosy place, and good value for the price.

What stood out most was the magnificent view from the apartment. The heated pool was a real bonus, and the reception staff were friendly. The apartment itself was large, practical, and had lots of storage, which you don't often get in a mountain rental. Covered parking had plenty of spaces.

We'd definitely come back. It was so easy to get around on foot since the apartments are close to the slopes, and we didn't need a car. Our accommodation was roomy, in good shape, and had plenty of storage. Having a ski locker for each apartment was really handy. At reception we could borrow raclette grills, sleds, and board games, and order bread and pastries for the next morning.
