Relais de la Vieille Garde

The owners were hospitable, and the grounds looked lovely and well kept, set back from the road. We rented the hall for my daughter's 18th birthday. It had a welcoming feel, with red brick walls, a beer tap, and an indoor fireplace for barbecuing, and could fit up to 60 people. The price was reasonable. We also found the B&B room perfect at €60 a night, with a very good breakfast included.

For my daughter's 21st birthday, we rented the venue. It was spotless, the room was well laid out, and we got a warm welcome. I recommend it for about forty people!

The manager is friendly and efficient, and having him there is reassuring. The setting is pleasant and perfectly satisfactory. Service in the reception hall was excellent. This will be our third time booking an event here, and the welcome has always been friendly and professional.

We wanted to rent the hall and the lodging, but the welcome was super unpleasant. The gentleman wasn't available to show us the hall, even though we were on time for the appointment and had travelled 40 km. Since we can't give zero stars, I can only give one.
