The food was generous and really good, and the host was so friendly and helpful. The house itself has been restored and decorated beautifully, and it was a very comfortable place to stay. Such a special spot.

The old-fashioned decor made the place feel homey, and the hosts were so welcoming. After a long hike in cold, rainy weather, hot coffee and a chocolate cookie were just what I needed. We also enjoyed the lovely home-cooked meals. The required prepayment transfer came with bank charges, and breakfast cost extra, so the booking ended up rather expensive.

We arrived completely soaked, and the hostess kindly offered to dry our clothes and shoes before showing us to our cozy rooms. She also made a delicious local dinner featuring village specialties. Lovely place to stay, and I’d definitely recommend this oustal!

Meals here are memorable, with a lovely atmosphere and delicious local cooking. The food is sophisticated but unfussy, with lots of homemade touches and a story behind it. At Ghislaine's, it feels like being welcomed into a friend's home rather than staying at a hotel. Our short visit left us incredibly refreshed, and we'll definitely return. The gîte is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, with a warm welcome.
