A lovely, tucked-away spot for relaxing, with cicadas buzzing in your ears if you visit in July or August. The owners are friendly, and the shower and dishwashing facilities are clean. My favorite detail was the proper handheld shower head instead of one of those doomed wall-fixed ones that even some four-star campgrounds install cheaply. If you're Dutch, you'll probably hear plenty of familiar voices.

The owner gave us excellent service, and I hope I can return someday. He has a very friendly dog called Hommer. My wife, our daughter, her friends, and I came from the Netherlands for three weeks in summer 2019 so they could do field mapping. My wife was ill then, but wanted to come along. She enjoyed the peace at the lodge, making meals for the family, and chatting with the campsite owner and other guests. It was my wife's last trip. She was hospitalized and passed away three weeks later. I want to thank the owner, and I'll keep this place in mind.

We come back several times, and our families go every year. This August we spent two days there for a family get-together and were welcomed so warmly. The pool is lovely, and the bar under its pergola is a very nice spot. The restrooms aren't new, but they're spotless, well equipped, and have hot water. I highly recommend it.

The welcome was great, and we especially appreciated the heated pool. The pitches are spacious and well kept, and the sanitary facilities were very clean. We stayed two nights at this pleasant campsite and would gladly come back.

There's always someone on hand to suggest hikes and nearby activities, and the owner and her parents are available with a big smile. The pitches are large and peaceful, the campsite is family-run, and you can get excellent bread in the morning. It's set back from a main road but still easy to reach. The sanitary facilities are as good as home. If you want a big, impersonal, crowded campsite with entertainment every night, this isn't the place. Here people talk, smile, live, and enjoy their holidays. A place to remember!
