The meal was expensive, but absolutely worth it. It may have been the best I've ever had. Really good service, and a great view of the river from the restaurant. I highly recommend it.

The building is lovely and has a lot of potential, though the decor was dated. We were staying at the hotel and decided to try the restaurant for dinner, even after seeing our room. We ordered the 8 course meal and a delicious bottle of wine. The food presentation was great, and I was excited to try it all, but the food was mediocre at best. A few things seemed like they might have been microwaved. We were very disappointed by the duck courses. They were bland, yet somehow all I could taste was salt. We stopped before dessert and asked to pay. When they asked why we were leaving early, we explained that the food was bland and too salty. I may have said it tasted like it was cooked for older people with no palate, whoops, but really. They said French people like salty food and that our palates were off. The bill was just under €400. DO NOT GO HERE if you like good food. It's a money trap. The wine was actually delicious, and our server was great until she told us our palates were off.

My favourite was the shrimp carpaccio, and the dessert was delicious too. We had a beautiful day by the river, with good wine and friendly service. What more could you ask for? Thanks for a great experience.
