We rented the biggest tent, which came with two bedrooms, a kitchen, shower, and living room, and had a really excellent stay. The campsite has lovely huts and tents to rent, and the general atmosphere is very pleasant. It's a beautiful spot by the river, where people and dogs can swim. The owners are a really friendly and helpful family. The nearby town is cute too, with good cafes and restaurants.

The riverside pitch was great, and the couple running the site were lovely and very helpful. The campsite is well kept and being upgraded, and it has a small shop with essentials. The showers are quite cramped and take a while to heat up. I'd come back to the site, but the town was a disappointment, run-down and with few shops for supplies. We walked 40 minutes each way to the supermarket on the outskirts. We enjoy walking, but I'd suggest doing a full shop before you arrive.

We parked up beside a lovely river view and paid a very reasonable rate, even without a discount camping card. The campsite staff were welcoming and friendly to chat with. The town is close enough to walk to, with a good fish and chip shop on the way, and a supermarket 1.7km away. We met some lovely French people at the site and made friends with an older Dutch couple we're still in touch with.

We enjoyed the river access, which was great for cooling off, including our dog. The campsite is lovely and the owners were super friendly. Dogs are welcome, though there's no designated dog park. You can order bread for the following day, and there's a great snack hut with themed evenings. We had a nice walk into town, but haven't quite got the timing right yet, as nar was closing when we arrived at 7:50 pm.

We only spent half a day here with the camper, but were so happy to have found this beautiful place. The welcome was warm and friendly, everything was clean, and the facilities were really good. It's a five to ten minute walk to the center, and dogs are welcome 👌🙂❤️
