We were only dropping off a couple of pilgrims, so I can't speak to the hotel itself, though I'd love to stay. We had a great welcome at the terrace restaurant, and the food was a very high standard. The staff seemed comfortable in English. Ask for la terrasse when booking, though there's also a nice garden terrace at the back. It's more than a snack bar, but the food is worth the price.

The hotel was quiet and comfortable, and breakfast was excellent value. Staying overnight in Conques is well worth it: there are fewer visitors around, and you can see the abbey lit up. We had booked parking at the hotel, but the narrow streets and one-way sections were too difficult to navigate. The main car parks were easier and cheaper, and we could walk to the hotel.

Right in the middle of Conques, this is a lovely boutique hotel with friendly staff and good service. Our upgraded room had a bath, and the bathroom was good. The room could get hot, but its windows opened onto a gorgeous courtyard.

The lunches and dinners were very, very good, and the desserts were good too. My favorite was the chocolate coulant. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the hotel was very clean. Rooms are a little dated but comfortable, and the bathrooms are nice. Breakfast was good as well.

We only stopped for lunch, but it was really good. Friendly staff, good food, and some nice, high-quality choices on the children's menu too.
