Maison D'hôtes Le Ponsonnet

We felt so well looked after by Marie-Jo and Gilbert. They gave us helpful ideas for places to explore, and breakfast was generous. Such a lovely setting and a really warm welcome. We had a fantastic time!

The summer kitchen was our favorite spot for winding down in the evenings after a day of sightseeing. Le Ponsonnet is also perfectly placed for exploring the region, with village shops close by, and the welcome from Marie Jo and Gilbert felt personal, like visiting friends. They shared plenty of local tips, and we'll definitely come back. Our room was spacious and nicely decorated, with its own little terrace. The peaceful grounds are beautiful, and the infinity pool looks out over the valley. Breakfast under the wisteria was enormous: fresh fruit, homemade cakes and jams, fresh orange juice, and cheese. The place has all the conveniences we needed.

If you want to discover the Aveyron, Gilbert is happy to show you around, while Marie-Jo takes such good care of you. Our room was roomy and spotless, with a bathtub and walk-in shower in the bathroom, plus a separate toilet. Breakfast was generous and clearly made with love. We especially appreciated all the fruit, cakes, and fresh orange juice. They both love their region, and we'd be glad to come back. Highly recommended. Take care, the Savoyards.
