We’d only stopped in for a drink, then decided to get a salad for lunch. It was amazing!

The food was every bit as good as the service. A great place to eat.

The food was good, especially the baked Camembert, which we really enjoyed. There’s also a lovely wine cellar where you choose a bottle yourself, guided by your own wine knowledge. The welcome was friendly, and the space had a nice atmosphere. Still, we waited 45 minutes, and service was slow from the moment we ordered. The quality was there, but the value felt a bit high given the delay, so I don’t feel like repeating the experience. It’s a decent restaurant option in Conques.

Avoid this restaurant. We waited an hour and fifty minutes to be served, and the Castelnaudary cassoulet was a complete rip-off (see photo). The Camembert came out cold with only a few fries and a leftover piece of ham. We left without eating our meals. There was also a stale tobacco smell in the room, and some customers were leaving because they couldn’t stand it any longer. I’m usually patient and tolerant, but this was too much. Don’t go if you want to avoid wasting your time and getting frustrated.
