The toilets were the weak point. They were okay, but dirty inside and out, and the dispenser had no disinfectant for cleaning them. In my room, though, everything was clean, and I could make it dark enough to sleep well. It was warm and comfortable, and the coded doors helped me feel safe. Check-in was easy, the receptionist was kind and helpful, and the Wi-Fi was fast. Good value for the money.

There was chipboard-like material all over the room floor, and I couldn't tell if something had come through the wall. The remote for the TV had no batteries or didn't work. Towels were folded, but stained. A busload of schoolchildren were showering and making a lot of noise while I had only a short time to sleep. I wish I'd just napped in the le shuttle car park. At least it's close by.

The building felt extremely humid, which made the stay uncomfortable, and the shared toilets were in poor hygienic condition. Toilets and showers are communal here. Breakfast was very poor, with no proper dishes provided. At this price, I expected a lot better.

After arriving late from the tunnel crossing, we discovered our booking had been cancelled. We couldn't get into the car park or our room, and there was no reception to help sort it out. There weren't any rooms available to book online either, so we couldn't resolve why the original booking was cancelled until morning. Luckily, B+B Hotels next door had a room free. I know it's a budget hotel, but I expected better from Accor.
