Domaine des Grands Cèdres

Eating in the garden was a real treat, with tall trees around us and the mountains, forest, and river in the distance. The three-person team were lovely and clearly tried hard to make everyone feel welcome. This summer, the chefs rotate every three weeks. Until August 14, Cheffe Morgane offered two appetizers at 6 euros each, four starters at 11-14 euros, three mains around 23 euros, three desserts around 8 euros, and a cheese platter. There were meat, fish, and vegetarian options. Everything we tried was delicious. The wine list is broad and includes local bottles. I tried a white that was well worth it. A place to try.

The estate staff gave us plenty of privacy over the wedding weekend, so from the preparations through the day after, it felt like we were in our own little world. The cottages, cabins, and wedding area were all just right, and Thierry, Marie, and Victoria were available and adapted to what we needed. We’re very grateful. Victoria welcomed us warmly and took care of the details, making sure things matched our expectations and helping the day go so well. We live abroad, so our family first visited Domaine des Grands Cèdres on our behalf. We were even more taken with the place when we finally saw it ourselves. We celebrated our wedding there last September and came away with magical memories. If you’re unsure, we’d say go for it.
