Pierre gave us plenty of ideas for the area, including a two-day route around Upper Normandy. He was a terrific host, friendly, helpful, and spoke good English. The homemade jam and yogurt at breakfast were especially tasty, and much of the food used local ingredients. You can also buy delicious local apple cider there. We loved our room's distinctive decor and luxurious feel, and the 18th-century Normandy-style mansion has been restored with real taste by its owner.

We really enjoyed the heated pool and garden during our July stay. Breakfast had a nice variety, including produce from the garden. Our host was attentive to what we asked for and had plenty of useful ideas for exploring the area. The rooms were lovely, clean, and well cared for, and the place felt charming and welcoming.

It’s a peaceful spot, away from the bigger cities, but still easy to get to. There are restaurants for different tastes about a 10-minute drive away, especially in Pont-Audemer. The garden is quiet and well kept, the generous breakfast was a plus, and the property itself is very well maintained. Pierre, the owner, is warm, discreet, charming, funny, and always willing to help. He makes it easy to feel at home.
