Annette and Cat made our stay feel special with how caring and lovely they were, and they served one of the most beautiful breakfasts we’ve ever had, made with fresh local products. The house feels like a work of art, with thoughtful decor that takes you through the history of Bretagne alongside striking modern touches. We left part of our hearts at la Ménardière. We can’t recommend it enough.

The breakfasts were five-star, served with a smile, and the two hostesses gave us such a warm welcome. The bedroom was comfortable and well equipped, with a large, well-appointed bathroom and a separate toilet. There’s private parking, and the house is well insulated from street noise. It’s a beautiful, charming house in the heart of the village, with a large garden. Two restaurants are just a two-minute walk away.

The house and garden are splendid, and the rooms are spacious with tasteful decor. Annette and Cat were a pleasure to meet, charming hostesses who clearly love having guests. Courseul is a pretty village with cafes, a bakery and a mini-market, and it’s well placed for exploring this beautiful region. If we come back, we won’t stay anywhere else!

They offered me a small apartment for the same price, and I was given some food in the evening, so I had a nice breakfast the next day. It’s an old-fashioned house, beautifully furnished, and a very nice place to stay. The service was truly excellent, even though card payments aren’t accepted. They kindly offered to drive me to the next town to find an ATM. I would’ve loved to stay longer.
