A Mandria

So peaceful in the garden, surrounded by the stone houses, and yet everything is just a few steps away. Everything was excellent.

Studio #1 was a major letdown and didn't look at all like the photos on booking.com. It was clean and well located, with a lovely view and parking right by the entrance, but the apartment had serious problems. Cooking was a struggle: there were no cutting boards, paper towels, or dishcloths, just a kitchen towel that didn't absorb anything. Luckily I brought my own chef's knives. The stove had no readable instructions and repeatedly caused short circuits while we cooked, so I had to reset the electrical installation's RCD several times. The toilet tank seemed set to fill the bowl to only about 10 cm. I don't know if that was meant to ration water, but it was odd. The shower's hot water side was so hot that we burned ourselves. Watch out for children, and a thermostatic tap should be fitted. I give the studio zero for safety. We were given only one garbage bag, and the sound insulation was poor. We could clearly hear the neighbors talking, cooking, and showering. Compared with other apartments, this one gets a depressingly low score from me.
