Our hosts made our wedding anniversary unforgettable. They put flowers out for us and served an amazing, generous dinner in the garden as the sun went down. We had such a special stay, and we're grateful for their kindness.

The garden and mountain views made this a lovely place to unwind, just a short drive from busy Corte. Nicolas was always on hand with advice on the trails and how to reach them. We also loved the generous terrace breakfast and the traditional three course Corsican dinner he prepared for us and the other guests. We spent the evening talking about Corsica, its culture and history, and his Pastizzu dessert was a real treat. Three nights at Maison San Giovanni with Nicolas were a highlight of our trip.

A peaceful spot just outside Corte, and even the train nearby didn't bother us much since there aren't many trains in Corsica. The owner was super friendly and shared local recommendations to help make our stay enjoyable. The rooms blend modern and traditional details nicely, though I wish the bathroom were a little larger.

Nicolas's dinner was a nice way to meet the other guests if you feel like it. I also enjoyed having access to the open kitchen during the day. A wonderful place to stay.

It's a really relaxing place, even with a train occasionally going right past. The rooms are clean and thoughtfully designed. The bathroom is a bit cramped, for instance, the shower door can't open all the way because it hits the cabinet, but it was okay overall.
