I picked this as my stop for the night on a long drive. It's in a great spot in a quiet town, with free parking on site. The room was just right for one night. There's a restaurant with delicious food and a good wine list. Everyone was super friendly and the service was great. Merci!

We only stopped by chance for lunch while passing Chagny, and it turned out to be a wonderful surprise. They still served us at 1.30 pm, and the food was beautifully presented, with well-balanced flavors and care in every part, from the amuse-bouches to the sweets served with coffee. Highly recommended!

We had lunch at 12.45 pm today and will definitely be back. The shaded outdoor seating was very pleasant, and the food was excellent, with plenty of choice and friendly, very good service. The new owners seem to have improved the setting. The chef is the same excellent lady chef we met on our last visit before Covid. This restaurant is a real gem and well worth a detour. It was easy to walk to the center in about 10-15 minutes, and the room was fairly spacious and tidy, with good Wi-Fi and a decent bathroom. But there was quite a draft, and the bed wasn't great, so I didn't sleep very well.

The meal was excellent, refined, and much more high-end than we expected. The decor is plain, but clean and functional, so don't let that put you off.
